fall/winter 2008-2008 season

September 29, 2008 - March 1, 2009

Come be a part of the Flying Fish Swim Team’s 15th season at the YWCA! The 2008/2009 season will run for 24 weeks (September 29th – March 13th).  Along with the registration information below, click on the following links for:

Team practice groups are divided so that swimmers feel comfortable with team members of similar age, ability, experience, and commitment level.

Entrance onto the team is by invitation only through our Learn-to-Swim program. If you have have not previously been on the Flying Fish and are interested in registering your child, contact Coach Peter Caragher at 847-864-8445.

·        For returning Flying Fish Families entering their 3rd plus year on the team (those that started before Fall 2007)

If you fall into this category, you can come in to register throughout the week of August 26th. Someone will be at the YWCA to help you register/fill out the proper paperwork Tuesday the 26th through Friday the 29th between the hours of 8:00 – 10am or 2:00 – 4:30pm. We will also be available to accept registration during the same times on Tuesday September 2nd. It will still take a little time, so please plan on at least 30 minutes to finish your registration.  If you do not come in during this time period, you will have to attend one of the following meetings. Please note that not all fees can be put on a Visa/MC, so remember to bring your checkbook!

·        For returning Flying Fish Families entering their 2nd year (Summer/Fall 2007 or later was your 1st season)

You must attend a mandatory meeting at one of the following times in order to register (adults only):

  • Tuesday, August 26, 10:30-11:30 am

  • Tuesday, August 26, 5-6 pm

  • Wednesday, 27, 10:30-11:30 am

  • Wednesday, 27, 5-6 pm

  • Tuesday, September 2 from 5-6 pm

  • Friday, September 5, 10-11 am

Please remember!  You must attend an entire meeting in order to participate this upcoming season!!!
